Letting GO

I remember on numerous occasions I held on so tightly to things all because I didn't want to lose. And the most honest thing would always happen, the harder I gripped the more pain I would cause myself. Have you ever heard the saying "you'll let go when you've suffered enough?" So my next question to you is, how long are you gonna be unhappy? Life is entirely too short to waste time on someone to act right. Life is too short to wait on something to be just right. Sometimes we have to learn when to cut our losses. Small things to a giant right? We spend entirely too much time thinking that what once was will return to us like it never left. Newsflash, nothing stays the same! Things always change. We just have to make the decision on what changes are worth embracing.

However, the greatest peace I've ever known was in letting go. Yes, the pain at first was unbarable. I thought I would die a slow, painful death but each time I lived straight through to a place I wouldn't want to come back from. My little piece of advice if you needed any from this tidbit would be to discover what you're willing to sacrifice for your peace, mind, body, and spirit. Then cut off anything not allowing that energy to flow.

Know your worth, settle for it only.

ASE.
