The new year brings on resolutions and promises we make with ourselves to better our own quality of life. Whether it be losing weight, eating better, or becoming financially stable, we usually break these agreements before the first quarter of the year ends. Two words I challenge you to incorporate in your life this year are accountable and intentional. The word accountable means required or expected to justify actions or decisions responsible. We as individuals must take accountability for your own actions. We can no longer use the excuse of another person hindering a part of our lives to make ourselves feel comfortable. Whatever person hurt you or whatever the situation didn't work out in your favor, so be it. Those people or things were meant to teach you, not keep you. Our productivity should not be dependent upon what may or may not happen. It's ok to trust people be to depend on self.

The second word, intentional can redefined as done on purpose; deliberate with holding ourselves accountable, we must also be intending on being positive being intentional with uplifting and encouraging others would be my way of doing so. If you want the best life has to offer, you have got to be intentional in your approach.
